About Dymalux Turning Blanks and Pen Blanks
Dymalux is similar to Dymondwood in the way it is manufactured but with some differences in appearance and properties. The veneers of Dymalux do not compress as evenly as Dymondwood and result in a more figured appearance when turned. The feedback we have received on Dymalux is that it appears softer than Dymondwood but more dulling to tools. As you can see from the selection to the above right and from the photo here, the colors of Dymalux are very vibrant.
